The US government shall not provide translation or interpreters. All foreign languages can be used in private without any restriction.

7. The US shall turn welfare into workfare. Only American citizens or residents may apply for public assistance. Those who receive public assistance must work for it. An unmarried woman without husband who produces children can not be qualified for welfare. To receive welfare the unmarried woman has to be sterilized and all her children for public adoption. Illegal aliens or illegal immigrants shall receive no public assistance whatsoever.

8. The US shall put up walls or fences necessary to make American borders secure. An invasion of illegal immigrants to America shall be deterred by American military force. Mexico must not be used by economic or illegal immigrants under any pretense. There is no negotiation for illegal immigrants.

9. No American citizen or business or institution may hire or give aid to illegal aliens and illegal immigrants which constitutes a violation of federal law.

10. American farmers who need extra workers during harvest time may apply to the Department of Labor to hire some seasonable migrant workers with temporary permits. After the end of employment, all seasonal migrant workers must return to where they come from without extension and without change of their status.

I. METHOD

There are people eager to offer or sell you the tips of Bible study. You do not need tips to study the Bible. What I suggest is a method of study which truly will benefit you greatly. Actually, this is not my method. When I was a little boy, an American professor gave me this best advice: He told me to study the Gospel of John 100 times, and study the Book of Romans 100 times.

Let me tell you the reasons you begin to study the Gospel of John first. You do not begin with the Old Testament and begin with the Genesis. The Bible is a big book. There are histories, prophecies, covenants, laws, poems, proverbs, etc. which will take you a long time to get through. Besides the Old Testament was the shadow. The New Testament is the body of truth.

Col 2:17, “things which are only a shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.”

Heb 10:1, “For the Law, since it has only a shadow of the good things to come and not the form of those things itself, can never, by the same sacrifices which they offer continually every year, make those who approach perfect.”

To sum up, the Old Testament represents the Law. The Law has only a shadow of the good things to come and not the form of those things itself. Only Jesus Christ is perfect.

You can first study carefully the Gospel of John because it reveals Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the Savior of the world. Once you finish the Gospel of John, you study the Book of Romans. The Book of Romans vitally explains the salvation of God. After that you can begin on Matthew through the Revelation. And then you begin to study the Book of Genesis, and finish the Old Testament consecutively. Do not skip chapters or skip books. Then you begin again the Gospel of John and and the Book of Romans. Then finish the New Testament from Matthew through Revelation. You can finish the Old Testament once more. Then study the Gospel of John and the Book of Romans up to 100 times. II. TRANSLATION AND VERSION

First of all, it is quite important to know the difference between translation and version. It is my understanding that translation is a rendering from a different language like from Greek to English, while version is something that is slightly different from others of the same language.

“More than 60 English-language versions of the Bible are available today. We can divide them into three broad types:

1. Word-for-word

2. Meaning-to-meaning (also called thought-to-thought)

Usually the introductory pages of a Bible will explain which of these approaches was used in its preparation.

Three types of translations

1 The word-for-word versions most accurately follow the Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek texts.

The King James Version (or Authorised Version) and its modern counterpart, the New King James Version, are both word-for-word translations. You can easily find them in most bookstores

or on the Internet.

The accuracy of a version is obviously of utmost importance. Although the King James

Version contains some mistakes, to establish sound doctrines, your first choice of versions

should be a more literal edition such as the King James or the New King James Version.

2 What about the meaning-to-meaning versions? They can be valuable in putting the

Scriptures into more understandable wording. Compare these two meaning-to-meaning

versions of the same verse:

Hebrews 2:17-18 (New King James Version)

"Why in all things it behooved him to be made like to his brothers, that he might be a merciful

and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the

people. For in that he himself has suffered being tempted, he is able to succor them that

are tempted"...

Hebrews 2:17-18 (New International Version):

“For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might

become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make

atonement for the sins of the people. Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he

The New International Version explains the point more clearly for most readers today,

although the New King James is a more direct translation of the original language. So,

when the text is not clear, many times a modern meaning-to-meaning translation can help.

The Revised English Bible, the Good News Bible and the New Living Translation are other

popular meaning-to-meaning translations.

A meaning-to-meaning translation is also helpful in conveying the point of ancient figures

of speech — idioms that would not make sense to us in modern language. Consider the

modern American idiom "kick the bucket." This phrase may not be around centuries from

now, and someone translating it then might need to use the word “die” instead. This is a

meaning-to-meaning rendering rather than a literal one. Ancient Hebrew and Greek

had such expressions as well, and in such cases a meaning-to-meaning translation is

very helpful.

Meaning-to-meaning versions use more up-to-date language and they are easier to

understand. But remember, they are not the best choice for establishing doctrine or

teaching because at times they involve more interpretation, which may differ from what

the original writers intended to say.

3 Paraphrased Bibles, such as The Living Bible or The Message Bible, also can be useful.

Their goal is to make the Bible even easier to read in modern language. However, be

very cautious in working with these kind of translations. Often the authors exercised

considerable “poetic license” in interpreting biblical terms and passages according to

their own personal religious ideas.

Paraphrased versions can be consulted to better grasp the story flow but should not

be relied on exclusively to establish doctrine. Consider them inadequate sources

for accurately determining the meaning of any text. I like to use this type of translation for

passages in the Old Testament, like the books of Isaiah or the Kings or Chronicles in

order to gain better understanding of the story and the characters.”

All searches using Strong’s Concordance are based on your complete or partial memory of the Scriptures. If you know nothing about the Scripture

you are looking for, it is impossible to search. For example, if you have

some rough idea about the time of salvation, you either search the

word “now” or “today.” Let us try the word “now.”

Strong’s Concordance, although not 100% perfect, it is a vital and most essential tool to search the Holy Scriptures. There are some words which do not occur in the Scriptures such as personality, politics, democracy, etc. They do not exist in the Holy Scriptures.

IV. TOPICS

CREATION

Gen 1:1, “In the beginning God created the Heavens and the earth.”

The Heavens mean the universe. In the beginning, not six thousand years ago; nobody knows when was the beginning, the beginning before time and space, the beginning of the physical universe.

The universe was not created by big bang or small bang. The Almighty God created the universe out of nothing.

Gen 1:21, “And God created the great sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarmed, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind; and God saw that it was good.”

Kind means species. God created many animals according to their species.

Mat 19:4, “And He answered and said, “Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning MADE THEM MALE AND FEMALE.”

Jesus Christ validates the creation of man and woman by God from the beginning. A former American president who advertised himself as a born again Christian is also an evolutionist. You cannot be a Christian and an evolutionist at the same time. Evolution contradicts the teaching of Christ. There are only two genders: male and female. Not like some country is so confused that there are a dozens of genders, and same-sex marriage.

Selah

The Holman Concise Bible Dictionary explains Selah this way: “Term of unknown meaning appearing in Psalms and Habakkuk 3. It is variously seen as pause either for silence or musical interlude, a signal for the congregation to sing, recite, or fall prostrate on the ground, a cue for the cymbals to crash, a word to be shouted by the congregation, a sign to the choir to sing a higher pitch or louder. The earliest Jewish traditions thought it meant ‘forever.’"

The MacArthur Bible Handbook provides this view: “Derived from the verb ‘salal,’ ‘to lift up.’ It occurs in thirty-nine psalms and in the ‘Psalm of Habbakuk’ (Habakkuk 3). No one is certain of the exact meaning of this word, that is, what it is to be lifted up. Some think that Selah is an emphatic word, marking a point in the psalm for “lifting up” one’s thoughts to God. But most scholars think it is simply some form of musical notation, such as a marker of a musical interlude, a pause, or a change of key.”

Selah in Hebrew is selê which means to exalt; lift up; pause; rest; silence; a technical musical term probably showing accentuation, pause, interruption (Strong’s Concordance); Jerome classes sela with amen and salom; it seems to have been used to mark a short pause in singing the words of the psalm, so that the singer would be silent, while the instrumental music continued; - which occurs 74 times in the Old Testament. Selah is used mostly in Psalms, never used in the New Testament.

EARTHQUAKE

1Ki 19:11, “So He said, “Go out and stand on the mountain before the LORD.” And behold, the LORD was passing by! And a great and powerful wind was tearing out the mountains and breaking the rocks in pieces before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind. And after the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake.”

Earthquake is a servant or instrument of God. God creates earthquake but the Lord is not in the earthquake. Those who believe God is in the earthquake are pantheists. Pantheists are not Christians.

Mar 13:8, “For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there will be earthquakes in many places; there will also be famines. These things are only the beginning of birth pains.”

The prophesy of Jesus is fulfilled many times. In the last days great and many earthquakes are happening in many places.

SIN

Jhn 1:29, “The next day he saw Jesus coming to him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”

John the Baptist testifies that Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. Sin entered the world through Adam. Rom 5:12, “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread so death spread to all mankind, because all sinned—” Because all sinned and so all will die. If you have never sinned, you will not die. 1Ki 8:46, “When they sin against You (for there is no person who does not sin) and You are angry with them and turn them over to an enemy, so that they take them away captive to the land of the enemy, distant or near.”

There is no person in the world who does not sin.

1Ti 1:15, “It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost.”

This is the good news, Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Even the greatest or worst sinner, if you repent and believe in Jesus Christ, if you come to Him for salvation He will never reject you.

THE BLOOD OF JESUS

Rev 1:5, “and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood—”

A false teacher taught that sin must be burned away. Jesus Christ is the only Savior who can take our sins away. Jesus Christ releases us from our sins by His blood. 1Jo 1:7, “but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.” No one is good enough to enter into Heaven. No one can do good to get rid of his sin. Only the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin so that we are justified to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

V. KEY WORDS

WHAT IS SIN

Rom 14:23, “But the one who doubts is condemned if he eats, because his eating is not from faith; and whatever is not from faith is sin.”

You say I do not kill, do not defraud, do not harm anyone. But do you know, not believing in God is the greatest sin? Whatever is not from faith is sin.

Jas 4:17, “So for one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, for him it is sin.”

You know you ought to do many right things, but you do not do them. To know the right thing to do and do not do it, it is sin. Sin is not doing the right thing you know.

1Jo 5:17, “All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death.”

All unrighteousness is sin. No one is righteous in the sight of God.

1Jo 3:4, “Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.”

You may say I am a law-abiding person. But the law we are talking about is not just the law of the land, but the law of God. Jesus says, Mat 5:28, “but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” You certainly know how many sins you have already committed in your heart.

GRACE

Rom 3:24, “being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus.”

It is of great importance to know that salvation is a gift of God’s grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus.

Rom 11:6, “But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, since otherwise grace is no longer grace.”

No one is saved by his own merit or good deeds. Grace in Greek is charis which means unmerited favor; loving-kindness; good will; merciful kindness; benefit; bounty; graciousness; loveliness; pleasantry; unmerited divine assistance; - which occurs 156 times in the New Testament.

2Co 12:9, “And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.”

To every suffering saint, Jesus says, My grace is sufficient for you. Only through suffering we come to know the power of Christ dwelling in me.

Eph 1:7, “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our wrongdoings, according to the riches of His grace.”

Salvation is free, but redemption is costly. Redemption is accomplished by the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ on the cross for sinners. By His blood we obtain the forgiveness of sins.

Eph 2:5, “even when we were dead in our wrongdoings, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved).”

Salvation is a free gift of God which no one is worthy or deserves it. We cannot save ourselves. No one can save us. Catholics are wrong to believe Mary can save them. We are saved by the grace of God.

REGENERATION

Tit 3:5, “He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we did in righteousness, but in accordance with His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit.”

Regeneration in Greek is palingenesia which means new birth; the production of a new life consecrated to God (Strong’s Concordance); rebirth; - which occurs 2 times in the New Testament. Jesus says, Jhn 3:3, “Jesus responded and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God.”

Regeneration means being born again. By the washing of our sins through the blood of Jesus and the renewing of the Holy Spirit, a believer is born again.

Trust and Obey

How do Christians live in this world which we do not belong to? I believe there are two words may help, Trust and Obey. Trust the past to the mercy of God, the present to the providence of God, and the future to the promises of God.

1. Trust in the faithfulness of God.

Psa 52:8, “But as for me, I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in the faithfulness of God forever and ever.”

2. Trust in God at all times.

Psa 62:8, “Trust in Him at all times, you people;
Pour out your hearts before Him;
God is a refuge for us. Selah”

3. Trust in God’s salvation.

Psa 78:22, “Because they did not believe in God
And did not trust in His salvation.”

4. Trust in the Word of God.

Psa 119:42, “So that I will have an answer for one who taunts me, for I trust in Your Word.”

5. Trust in the name of the Lord.
Isa 50:10, “Who is among you who fears the LORD,
Who obeys the voice of His servant,
Who walks in darkness and has no light?
Let him trust in the name of the LORD and rely on his God.”

As regards obedience:

1. Obey God rather than men.

Act 5:29, “But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men.”

2. Obey the Holy Spirit.

Act 5:32, “And we are witnesses of these things; and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him.”

3. Obey the truth.

Rom 2:8, “but to those who are self-serving and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, He will give wrath and indignation.”

4. Obey the Gospel of our Lord Jesus.

2Th 1:8-9, “in flaming fire, dealing out retribution to those who do not know God, and to those who do not obey the Gospel of our Lord Jesus. These people These people will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power.

5. Obey Jesus Christ.

1Pe 1:2, “according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood: May grace and peace be multiplied to you.”

Jhn 3:36, “The one who believes in the Son has eternal life; but the one who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”

6. Obey your parents in the Lord.

Eph 6:1, “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.”

When Chinese parents want their children to worship their ancestors, idols, eat blood, etc. Christians cannot obey their Chinese parents because it is not in the Lord.

7. Obey your human masters.

Col 3:22, “Slaves, obey those who are your human masters in everything, not with eye-service, as people-pleasers, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord.”

A black politician who was a descendant of slaves mocked at this Scripture. The Bible does not condone slavery. The Bible also does not advocate revolution to change the world. The world as it is, the duty of Christians is to preach the Gospel to every creature.

8. Obey your leaders.

Heb 13:17, “Obey your leaders and submit to them—for they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account—so that they may do this with joy, not groaning; for this would be unhelpful for you.”

The leaders here refer to Christian leaders in the Church, not political leaders like Hitler and white imperialists.

VI. COMMENTARIES

I hardly consult commentaries because commentaries are only opinions of men about the Scriptures. Many times they are wrong. However, I want to tell you when I was young, Expository Thoughts on the Gospels by J. C. Ryle, the four volumes benefited me greatly. I am sure they will benefit you too. 1. God is Spirit.

Jhn 4:24, “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.”

Note: Spirit in Greek is pneuma which means the life giving spirit, the spiritual and divine nature of God; - it occurs about 385 times in the New Testament. All pagan gods or idols are made of gold, silver, copper, stone, wood, etc. that have images of humans, animals, birds, etc. God is Spirit which is invisible. God became Man visible as Jesus Christ, the Son of God. The same word is used in Jhn 6:63, “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.” Maybe we may not understand, but we must believe the words that Jesus has spoken are spirit and are life. The same word is used in Jhn 14:17, “That is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.” The Spirit of truth abides with all born again Christians and is in them. The same word is used in Jhn 16:13, “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.” The Spirit of truth revealed to the apostles things to come which are all written in the New Testament. The revelation of Jesus Christ is completed; there cannot be any prophecy contrary to what is already revealed. The same word is used in Act 1:8, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” The Holy Spirit is the power from above. The power of the Holy Spirit is used to witness for Christ, not to speak in tongues. The same word is also used in Rom 8:9,“However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him.” The only proof that you are saved, you are a child of God, is that the Spirit of Christ lives in you. You will know if the Spirit of Christ lives in you because He will bear witness with your spirit. Rom 8:16-17 ,“The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.”

Note: The Bible says God is Spirit. The Spirit of God is the Holy Spirit and the Spirit of Christ. Since God is Spirit, God is invisible. It is a great sin to make God in the image of man or animal. The God of the Bible, the Creator and Lord of the universe, is the Spirit. The living God does not have His bones or fingers, etc. buried in the earth to be discovered by man. Jesus Christ rose from the dead by the power of God, His resurrected body was spiritual and glorious and eternal. Luk 24:39, “See My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself; touch Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have.” The God Christians worship is not a god of flesh and bones, but the immortal and eternal God.

2. God is Love

1Jo 4:8, “The one who does not love does not know God, because God is Love.”

1Jo 4:16, “We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is Love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.”

Note: Love in Greek is agapē which means affection, good will, benevolence, compassion, charity whether it is viewed in the soul or as expressed; of the love of God toward men; - it occurs about 116 times in the New Testament. The same original word is used in Rom 5:8, “But God shows His love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.” Not only God is love, God shows His love for us when Jesus Christ died on the cross for sinners. The original word is used in Rom 5:5, “And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” The same word is used Rom 5:8 , “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Jesus Christ died on the cross for sinners was a demonstration of God’s love toward us. The same word is used in Rom 8:39,“Nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” The love of God is in Christ Jesus our Lord; those who reject Christ do not have the love of God. The same word is used in Eph 2:4-7, “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.” The love of God brought believers salvation, honor and glory in Christ Jesus. The word is also used in Tts 3:4-7,“But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” The Scriptures cited above tell us how the love of God appeared in our Savior who saved us by His mercy, through the washing and renewing of the Holy Spirit, justified us by His grace to become heirs of the hope of eternal life. The triune God works together to save mankind.

A Chinese Christian hymn book says, “God is love. Love is God.” “God is love” is true. “Love is God” is pagan, pantheistic and un-Scriptural. I told them, but they did not change. They did not seem to want to be sound in doctrine. There are people who worship the goddess of love. One thing abides forever in the Kingdom of God is love.

3. God is Light.

1Jo 1:5, “This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.”

Note: God is Light is not only a name or title of God, it is the nature of God. Light in Greek is phōs which means an appellation of God, i.e. by nature holy, pure, bright and brilliant; truth and its knowledge, together with the spiritual purity associated with it; - it occurs about 70 times in the New Testament. God is Light and in Him there is no darkness at all. LIGHT stands for truth, holiness, purity, faithfulness, and everything that is good. Darkness symbolizes sin, lie, deceit, falsehood, and everything that is not pure or true, morally corrupt and crooked. In the Kingdom of God, there will be no need of sun and moon, for God is the eternal Light to shine on the new Heavens and the new Earth.

4. God is Holy.

Psa 99:9 ,“Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at His holy hill; for the Lord our God is holy.”

Note: Holy in Hebrew is qadowsh which means sacred, set apart, attributing to God as abhorring every kind of impurity (both physical and moral); - it occurs 116 times in the Old Testament. It is the same original word used in

Lev 11:45 ,“For I am the LORD who brings you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. You shall therefore be holy, for I AM Holy.” Holiness is the basic nature of God. Sinful man cannot approach God. However, God provides the way; the way to God is through Jesus Christ who died for the sin of the world. By shedding of Jesus’precious blood on the cross once for all, the way to God is open to all believers.

Jhn 17:11,“Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.”

Note: Holy in Greek is hagios which means most holy one, properly reverend, worthy of veneration, the inviolable character of God, everlasting sanctity, absolutely separate from evil, the sum total of all virtue; - it occurs about 229 times in the New Testament. The same word is used in Act 1:8, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” – referring to the Holy Spirit. The same word is used in Rom 1:2, “Which He promised beforehand through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures.” – referring to the Holy Scriptures. The same word is used in 2 Ti 1:9, “He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity.” – referring to the holy calling. The same word is used in 1Jo 2:20, “But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know.” – referring to the Holy One who is Jesus Christ. The same word is used in Jud 1:20, “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.” – referring to the holy faith. The same word is also used in Rev 21:2 ,“And I saw the Holy City, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.” – referring to the Holy City, the New Jerusalem.

God is holy and that is His nature. The image of God is reflected by His holiness, righteousness, and goodness. God is holy because He is sinless. God is righteous and He cannot do wrong. God is not man. God is the Spirit who does not have a body. God manifested Himself some 2,000 years ago in the body of Jesus Christ. God does not need a bath because the Eternal God is holy and undefiled. Only dirty humans and animals need to take a bath. Some person who does not know God wrote, “Scientists uncover ‘God’s bathtub.” Scientists by human efforts and scientific tools cannot discover anything about God. Of course, by the creation one can know something about the Creator. You do not need to be a scientist to uncover God’s wisdom, power and glory manifested in the universe. Rev 4:8, “And the four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within; and day and night they do not cease to say: HOLY, HOLY, HOLY is THE LORD GOD, THE ALMIGHTY, WHO WAS AND WHO IS AND WHO IS TO COME.”

5. God is True.

Jer 10:10 , “But the LORD is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King. At His wrath the earth quakes, and the nations cannot endure His indignation.”

Note: True in Hebrew is 'emeth which means in truth, as opposed to falsehood; constant and perpetual; faithful; - it occurs about 127 times in the Old Testament. On March 11, 2011 a mega earthquake of 9.0- magnitude struck Japan. If I understand the Scripture cited correctly, God was angry with Japan, at His wrath the earth quakes. Earthquakes may display God’s wrath, it does not mean every earthquake is a display of God’s wrath. For the Scripture also says, Isa 64:3, “When You did awesome things which we did not expect, You came down, the mountains quaked at Your presence.” The mountains quake at God’s presence. The empire of Japan has done so much evil and never repented. The same word is used in Zec 7:9 ,“Thus has the LORD of hosts said: Dispense true justice and practice kindness and compassion each to his brother.” Japan has not practiced true justice to those who suffered under Japanese genocide, atrocities and brutalities, and those Japanese military made sex and labor slaves, etc.

Jhn 3:33, “He (Christ) who has received His testimony has certified that God is true.”

Note: True in Greek is alēthēs which means speaking the truth, truthful, which can be trusted; - it occurs about 25 times in the New Testament. The same original word is used in Jhn 7:18 , “He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who is seeking the glory of the One who sent Him, He is true, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.” Christ is true, and there is no unrighteousness in Him. The same word is used in Rom 3:4, “Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar. As it is written: That You may be justified in Your words, and may overcome when You are judged.” God is true, every man a liar. Truth is offensive, God is true, every man is a liar. The same word is used in 1Pe 5:12, “Through Silvanus, our faithful brother (for so I regard him), I have written to you briefly, exhorting and testifying that this is the true grace of God. Stand firm in it!” The true grace of God is that God has called sinners to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ in order to receive His eternal glory. Christians are to stand firm in the true grace of God. The same word is used in 1Jo 2:27 , “As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him.” Everything that Jesus teaches or says is true and is not a lie. For God is true.

6. God is One.

Gal 3:20, “Now a mediator is not a mediator for one only, but God is One.”

Note: One in Greek is heis which means one and only, one and the same; - it occurs about 272 times in the New Testament. God is One means God is monotheistic. God is singularly divine. No one is like God. The same original word is used in Mar 12:29 ,“Jesus answered: The foremost is, HEAR, O ISRAEL! THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE LORD.” The same word is used in Rom 5:17, “For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.” Jesus Christ is the One who gives the gift of righteousness. The same word is used in

Rom 5:19 ,“For as through the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous.” Through the obedience of the One Jesus believers are made righteous. The same word is used in Rom 8:33 , “Who will bring a charge against God's elect? God is the one who justifies.” God is the One who justifies believers in Christ. The same word is used in 1Cr 3:11 ,“For no man can lay a foundation other than the One which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” The foundation of the church is Jesus Christ. The same word is used in 1Cr 8:6 ,“Yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.” There is but one God the Father, and one Lord, Jesus Christ. Christians exist for God and exist through Jesus Christ. The same word is used in 1Cr 12:13 ,“For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.” The Bible teaches One God, One Lord, and One Spirit. The same word is used in Eph 4:5, “One Lord, one faith, one baptism.” Jesus Christ says, Jhn 5:44 ,“How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and you do not seek the glory that is from the one and only God?” According to Jesus, God is the One and Only. The same word is used in 1Ti 2:5, “For there is one God, and one Mediator also between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.” Jesus Christ is the one Mediator between God and men. The same word is also used in 1Jo 2:20,“But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know.” Jesus Christ is the Holy One.

The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are One God. There are not three Gods. God is the greatest mystery, too wonderful for human mind to comprehend or understand. As an illustration of the Trinity, although it is a poor illustration, the sun is represented as the One God: you can see the round body of the sun as the Father, you see the light as Jesus Christ, you can feel the heat as the Holy Spirit.

I hold the greatest theologians do not know or understand completely that God is Spirit, God is Love, God is Light, God is Holy, God is True, and God is One. It will take me eternity to learn about God.

JESUS CHRIST

Jesus Christ clearly and definitely declares to the world, “I AM.” In the Gospel of John only that Jesus Christ declares, “I AM…”

The New Testament 'I AM' is the same Old Testament "I AM WHO I AM." For the Father and Son are ONE.

When someone claims he is one with God, you can be sure he is diabolical.

God called Moses and wanted to send him to see Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, with the message: “Let My people go!” Moses did not know what the name of God was.

Exd 3:13-14 , “Then Moses said to God: Behold, I am going to the sons of Israel, and I will say to them: The God of your fathers has sent me to you. Now they may say to me: What is His name? What shall I say to them? And God said to Moses: I AM WHO I AM. And He said: Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, I AM has sent me to you.”

In the Gospel of John alone, Jesus Christ declares His “ I AM ” as follows:

1. I AM the Bread of life.

Jhn 6:35 , “Jesus said to them, I AM the Bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst.” See also Jhn 6:48.

Note: Bread in Greek is artos which means food composed of flour mixed with water and baked; food of any kind; sustenance; loaf; - which occurs 97 times in the New Testament. Jesus also says, Mat 4:4, "But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘MAN SHALL NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE, BUT ON EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD.'” Man lives on bread, but man shall not live on bread alone. Just as man needs bread to live, so all men need Jesus the Bread of life. The Bread of life means the body of Jesus Christ suffered and died on the cross for our sins. Those who come to Christ have the Bread of life and will not hunger, and those who believe in Christ will never thirst because they have the water of life. The eternal life does not hunger or thirst. Bread is the main food for the Jews just as rice is the main food for the Chinese. Just as food is vital to our body, so is Jesus the Bread of life for our spiritual life. He who has Jesus Christ has life, and he who does not have Jesus Christ does not have life, the real life, the eternal life.

2. I AM the Light of the world.

Jhn 8:12 , “Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, I AM the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”

Note: Light in Greek is phōs which means something emitted by a lamp; the physical light can be emitted by a torch, a star or electricity; something that shines and manifests; brightness; something that makes vision or sight possible; metaphorically God is Light because of its pure and brilliant quality; truth (spiritual light); reason (mental light); - which occurs 72 times in the New Testament. Without light man walks in the darkness. Jesus does not mean He is the Visible light which is usually defined as having wavelengths in the range of 400–700 nanometers (nm), or 4.00 × 10⁻⁷ to 7.00 × 10⁻⁷ m, between the infrared (with longer wavelengths) and the ultraviolet (with shorter wavelengths). God is Light because God is true; there is no darkness in Him. Jesus Christ is the Light of the world who leads people to God and those who believe have the Light of life. The light of science and knowledge cannot lead man to the Light of life. Religion cannot save you. To know Jesus Christ is to know God and will have the Light of life.

3. I AM from above.

Jhn 8:23 , “And He was saying to them, You are from below, I AM from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world.”

Note: This is the contrast between the Son of God and mankind. Christ is from above, we are from below. Above means Heaven, below means the Earth. Men are of this world; Christ is not of this world. Christians are also not of this world. Christians do not belong to this world. The world to come is the Kingdom of Heaven. Warmongers, supremacists, militarists, capitalists, imperialists, terrorists, monopolists, hegemonists, etc. are of this world and they will perish and vanish. Nothing in this world lasts. There is no Christendom in this world. There is no Christian nation on earth. There is no Christian nationalism. Jesus Christ is not of this world. The Kingdom of Jesus Christ is not of this world.

4. I AM the Door.

Jhn 10:9 , “I AM the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.”

Note: Door in Greek is thyra which means gate; a portal or entrance; something by which entry is opened or closed; way of passage; in a metaphor Jesus is the door through which sheep go in and out; Jesus is the Person who brings salvation and gives life to those who come and believe in Him; - which occurs 39 times in the New Testament.

Figuratively and spiritually speaking, Jesus Christ is the Door; just as through a door you enter a house. Through Jesus Christ you enter the Kingdom of God and are saved. Believers also enjoy Christian liberty and God provides their needs. All other religions have no door to God, no door to truth, no door to salvation

5. I AM the Good Shepherd.

Jhn 10:11 , “I AM the Good Shepherd; the Good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.”

Note: Shepherd in Greek is poimēn which means a person who tends sheep; a herdsman; a pastor; metaphorically Jesus Christ is the Savior and Head of the Church (His sheep); - which occurs 18 times in the New Testament. The Savior is the Good Shepherd, the Christians are His sheep. Jesus Christ laid down His life means He died on the cross for our sins. The Good Shepherd knows His sheep and they follow Him. If you do not follow Jesus Christ, it means you are not His sheep. The sheep of Jesus hear His voice.

Almost all religions teach you to be good. You save yourself by good needs or merit. All founders of religions are dead and buried. But Jesus Christ is the Good Shepherd, the Savior, who died on the cross for our sins, rose again from the dead by the power of God, to justify all who believe and come to Him for salvation. You are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the only ONE WHO HAS THE EMPTY TOMB. FOR JESUS CHRIST LIVES FOREVER AND EVER.

6. I AM the Son of God.

Jhn 10:36 , “Do you say of Him, whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, You are blaspheming, because I said, I AM the Son of God?”

Note: Jesus Christ is the Son of God means the Father sanctified and sent Him into the world; born of a virgin, filled with the Holy Spirit, died on the cross and rose from the death by the power of God. Christ ascended to Heaven and now sits at the right hand of God. Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and Christians are children of God.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God means God the Father sent Jesus Christ down to the earth from Heaven to be the Lamb of God, to die for sinners. Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin Mary, without sins. Only the sinless and holy Jesus can be the Savior of the world. Jesus was bodily dead and buried, but rose again from the dead the third day to be declared the Son of God. Jesus Christ after the Resurrection appeared to the disciples in many occasions and many places. Before their eyes, Jesus ascended to the highest Heaven and sits on the right hand of God. Jesus Christ, the Judge of the living and dead, is coming again to judge the world and reign with the saints for eternity.

7. I AM the Resurrection and the Life.

Jhn 11:25, “Jesus said to her, I AM the Resurrection and the Life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies.”

Note: Resurrection in Greek is anastasis which means rising again; raised to life again; a rising from the dead; the rising of Christ from the dead; - which occurs 42 times in the New Testament. Jesus Christ is the Resurrection literally and spiritually. Jesus Christ not only rose from death, He is the Resurrection. Jesus Christ not only gives life, He is the Life, the Lord of life; and He has life in Himself. Those who believe in Christ even if they die, someday they will rise and live forever. Because my Redeemer lives, so I will live forever.

Look around you see only tombs, graves, and death. Look up you see Jesus Christ the Resurrection and the Life.

8. I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Jhn 14:6, “Jesus said to him, I AM the Way, and the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”

Note: This is the Manifesto of the incomparable Jesus Christ.

This is one of the most important statements by Jesus. Jesus Christ is the Way, the only Way to God, the Way of salvation. There is no other way. There is no other truth. There is no other life. This is the Truth that Christ proclaims to the world. Christ is the Life; he who believes in Him will have eternal life. Truth is exclusive; the Way, the Truth, and the Life are exclusive of all others. There is only one Way, one Truth, and one Life who is Jesus Christ.

Science and philosophy cannot find God by human efforts or wisdom. God is the greatest mystery of all. Humanly speaking, there is no way to God, no truth, and no life. So Jesus Christ came to reveal God, that is called Incarnation. Incarnation means God became Man in the body of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ did not become God. Jesus Christ is the Word of God who was with God from the beginning. The Word was God. Jesus Christ reveals God the Father to the world. Christianity, unlike all other religions, is the only Revealed religion. God is Spirit. Science and philosophy cannot find God or the absolute truth. Thus Jesus Christ declares, He is the Way, no one comes to the Father but through Him. Jesus is the Way to God is the Truth, whoever believes in the truth of Christ has eternal life.

Look the whole world is lost, you cannot find the way, there is no truth but lies (most despicable are world leaders who lie, lie, and lie; kill, kill, and kill; rob, rob, and rob), and death fills up the earth. Behold, Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

9. I AM the Vine.

Jhn 15:5 , “I AM the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.”

Note: Vine in Greek is ampelos which means a plant that produces grapes; Christ calls Himself a vine, because, as the vine imparts to its branches sap and productiveness, so Christ infuses into His followers His own divine strength and life (Strong's Concordance); - which occurs 9 times in the New Testament.

The relationship between Christ and Christians is so personal like the vine and the branches. The branches cannot live without the vine, so believers do not have life without Jesus Christ. Those who abide in Christ, Christ lives in them and they bear much fruit. Apart from the Vine, the branches wither and die. Apart from Christ, Christians can do nothing. A full Christian life is to live for Christ and have Christ lives in you.

10. I AM the King of the Jews.

Jhn 19:21 , “So the chief priests of the Jews were saying to Pilate, Do not write, The King of the Jews; but that He said, I AM the King of the Jews.”

Note: Sadly, the Jews did not know the Messiah had come. They have not accepted their King as a nation. The day is coming, not only Jesus Christ is the King of the Jews, He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Rev 17:14, “These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.”

Jesus Christ is the King of the Jews. God some 4,000 years ago gave the Promised Land to Abraham and his descendants. There was Israel and the Jews. There was no Palestinian, Arab or Hamas. The UNITED NATIONS or any agency has no authority to give the Holy Land to Palestinians, Arabs or Hamas. The Jews are the Chosen People of God. When the Jews rebelled against God, they were scattered all over the world. During the British colonial rule of the Holy Land, it was known as the Palestine, illegal Arabs moved in to occupy the Holy Land without payment. The leaders of the United Kingdom have the moral obligation to come out and inform the Palestinians, Arabs and Hamas that they do not have any claim to the Holy Land, and they do not have the resettlement right in the Holy Land. Thus, Palestinians do not have any right to establish a Palestinian state in the Jewish land. Jerusalem is forever the capital of the great King David. Palestinians, Arabs and Hamas should get out of the Holy Land in peace, or they will be evicted by force. God will fight for Jerusalem and God is the Protector of Israel. Palestinians, Arabs and Hamas, may establish a Palestinian state in any Arab land, but never on the Jewish land.

The world is coming to an end. Jesus Christ is coming again to establish the Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus Christ is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. All the kingdoms of the world will become the Kingdom of God and Jesus Christ. Let the enemies of Israel beware!

Rev 22:11-13, “Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and the one who is filthy, still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous, still practice righteousness; and the one who is holy, still keep himself holy. Behold, I AM coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

Knowledge of the head does not save anyone. The salvation of God has nothing to do with the desire of man. Whatever man does cannot save himself. It is what Jesus Christ has done on the cross can save sinners. Eph 2:8-9, “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Baptizing and joining the Roman Catholic Church does not and cannot save anyone.

These are two examples that you can study Biblical Theology. Through the Holy Scriptures, you learn to know who God is and who Jesus Christ is. The Father and the Son are one, there is no greater or more important than the knowledge of God.

Note: Tradition in Greek is paradosis which means a giving over which is done by word of mouth or in writing, tradition by instruction, precept, narrative, etc., of the body of precepts, especially ritual, which in the opinion of the later Jews were orally delivered by Moses and orally transmitted in unbroken succession to subsequent generations, which precepts, both illustrating and expanding the written law, as they did were to be obeyed with equal reverence; - it occurs about 13 times in the New Testament. Traditions of man may be opposite to the divine teachings. In Jesus’ time, Pharisees used rituals and traditions to nullify the Word of God. Catholic traditions also oppose the Word of God, such as the worship of Mary, etc. The Chinese have many customs and traditions which are contrary to the Word of God. You cannot call yourself a Christian and worship idols as leaders of Taiwan do. If you are a Buddhist or Taoist, then you are not a Christian. Buddhists and Taoists may become Christians, Christians can never become Buddhists or Taoists or other religions.

Isa 40:8,“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the Word of our God stands forever.”

Note: Peddle in Greek is kapēleuō which means to be a retailer, make money by selling anything, trade in the Word of God, try to get base gain by teaching divine truth; corrupt, adulterate; - it occurs only once in the New Testament. It is sinful to handle the Word of God deceitfully as many theologians and Bible scholars do today. I believe it is wrong to trade in the Word of God, or to try to get base gain by teaching the divine truth. For example, it is wrong to copyright the Bible, it is also wrong to adulterate the Word of God by making your special version of the Bible to make money – the Bible according to guru so and so. Something is seriously wrong with any preacher or Bible scholar who gets rich by peddling the Word of God. There were so many who did that during Paul’s times, there are even more today in particular in the United States – the cesspool of capitalism.

Jhn 5:39 ,“You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me.”

Note: Search in Greek is eraunaō which means to examine into, look through, examine closely and carefully; - it occurs only 6 times in the New Testament. The Christian Faith is not a Delusion

1. The Christian Faith is NOT based on philosophical and theological grounds. Let us make it clear: The Christian Faith is NOT based on psychological, psychiatric or political grounds either. The Christian Faith is not based on human opinions or human wisdom at all. The Christian Faith is based on the Revelation of Jesus Christ by the power of His Resurrection from the dead. The Revelation of Jesus Christ is completed and written in the New Testament. The Revelation of Jesus Christ did not and does not promise a churchgoer “would not catch the virus because she was “covered in Jesus’ blood”. All the sins of the saved are covered by the precious blood of Jesus Christ and passed from condemnation. No pandemic or disease is covered by the blood of Jesus.

2. A false believer is any person who believes in his/her delusion or illusion, but not based on the Word of God. No religion conferred anyone immunity from COVID-19. Any one who believes so is not based on truth, but based on superstition. The Christian Faith is not superstition. For Jesus says,

Mar 2:17, “And hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick; I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Any teacher or preacher who leads church members astray from the truth is a false teacher or preacher. In fact about 2,000 years ago Jesus Christ predicted things to come: Luk 21:10-11, “Then He continued by saying to them, “Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be great earthquakes, and in many places plagues and famines; and there will be terrors and great signs from Heaven.” And so COVID-19 is actually one of the plagues that fulfilled the prophesy of Jesus Christ. Plague in Greek is loimos which means pestilence; which occurs 2 times in the New Testament. Plague, pestilence, and pandemic mean the same thing.

3. Christianity is not like all other religions. All other religions are man-made. Christianity is the Revealed religion. It does not depend on any man or organization. Christianity is the truth in Jesus Christ, absolute, complete, supreme, ultimate, infallible and eternal. Christianity is not based on scientific truths either, because science is the best human organized knowledge at a point in time and place; science is always progressive, tentative, and never absolute, or infallible. No true or great scientist believes they have absolute scientific truths. The Christian faith is reasonable, not dangerous at all. Belief in an afterlife is NOT a malignant delusion. For Jesus Christ says, Jhn 11:25, “Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies.”

For the Christian is the happiest because Jhn 5:24, “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My Word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.” The Christian is happiest because he has passed out of death (eternal death) into life (eternal life); his sins are forgiven he is a Pilgrim on his way to the Heavenly City. The richest and most powerful man in this world is without God and without hope. An unbeliever does not know when he is going to die, he is afraid of death because he is going to face the judgment of God. Christians have eternal security, nothing to fear, not even afraid of nuclear war.

4. You can equate any religion with delusion except Christianity, for Christians have blessed hope. Christians are citizens of Heaven, the eternal Kingdom of God. Your intellect cannot save you at the moment of death. There is no semantic quibble, nothing and no one can save you from death, and Hell. The biggest delusion are those who disbelieve after death is Hell. “When one person suffers from a delusion, it is called insanity. When many people suffer from a delusion it is called Religion”. The biggest insanity is to make the wrong bet, as the great scientist and philosopher Pascal has argued most rationally,

“If I believe in God and life after death and you do not, and if there is no God, we both lose when we die. However, if there is a God, you still lose and I gain everything.”

If terrorists Hamas, Hezbollah and Houthis are destroyed, and Palestinians expatriated and resettled in Arab lands, the conflict of Palestine and Israel will be no more. Illegal aliens are unlawful criminals, they have no civil right, human right and do not deserve humanitarian aid. They cannot be on welfare. They deserve only to be deported without payment. 4. America is committing suicide by not making the American English the only official language in America.
