Gen 3:9, “Then the LORD God called to the man, and said to him, “Where are you?” When a man is lost, he does not know where he is. A sinner is spiritually separated from God and he is lost, because he does not know where he comes from and where he is going. The correct word to describe man in the world is the word LOST.
Gen 3:17, “Then to Adam He said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat from it'; cursed is the ground because of you; with hard labor you shall eat from it all the days of your life.” Christian wives should not be the instrument of sin that caused the downfall of their husbands. Why the voice of woman should not be an instrument of sin? This Scripture implies a woman talks too much and has a bad influence on her husband. If you are a good woman, you should not seduce your man to sin. A good woman should not talk her husband to death. A good wife should be the crown of her husband. That is exactly the American feminist movement which is contrary to the Holy Bible. Sin brings curse. Suffering, sorrow, sickness, hard labor, pain, worries, and death are parts and portions of curse in this world.
The problem of mankind is not the place but his heart. Adam and Even committed the sin of disobedience in the best place of the universe, the Garden of Eden. Sin brings curse. Sickness, suffering, hard labor, pain, worries, and death are parts and portions of curse.
Adam rebelled against God by eating the forbidden fruit, the West identified the forbidden fruit as the apple. I believe apple was not the forbidden fruit. No one knows what was the forbidden fruit because the Bible does not say so.
Gen 9:5, “I certainly will require your lifeblood; from every animal I will require it. And from every person, from every man as his brother I will require the life of a person.” Adam and Eve disobeyed God their Creator. Cain disobeyed God and his parents to kill his own brother Abel.
Gen 9:6, “Whoever sheds human blood,
By man his blood shall be shed,
For in the image of God
He made mankind.”
The sin of disobedience is followed by the sin of violence. From the beginning, God instituted capital punishment for murder. ‘Whoever sheds human blood, by man his blood shall be shed.’ Europe and America that claim to be Christian nations were the first to abolish death penalty in violation of the commandment of God. However, European and American leaders and politicians in countless wars of aggression and conquest killed millions of innocent peoples around the world to this day. The wicked did not oppose the sin of violence (killing), they oppose the penalty of death.
Rom 5:19, “For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous.”
It is fertile and useless for theology that teaches that the first man Adam committed some other sin. The Bible plainly says the sin of the first man was disobedience. This is an example you use the Word of God to test theology, philosophy, and any theory of man. And so through the obedience of Christ, many may be made righteous by grace through faith in Jesus Christ the Righteous. Disobedience broke the relationship between a creature and the Creator. Man can never by its own merit or good work obtains the righteousness of God. However, through the mercy of God man can be counted righteous (justified) by faith in Christ.
Rom 11:30, “For just as you once were disobedient to God, but now have been shown mercy because of their disobedience.” All sinners were and are disobedient to God. Now God has shown mercy because Jesus Christ had died for sinners.
Rom 11:32, “For God has shut up all in disobedience, so that He may show mercy to all.” God has shut up all sinners (there is no exception) in disobedience. John Calvin was a false teacher beyond remedy. The Word of God clearly says that God may show mercy to all who come to Jesus Christ for salvation.
Eph 2:2, “in which you previously walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience.” All sinners are sons of disobedience. Christians previously walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, but now walking in the truth led by the Holy Spirit. American and European leaders and politicians may think themselves to be somebodies, but actually they are also sons of disobedience, walking according to the course of this world, of the spirit that is now working in them.
Eph 5:6, “See that no one deceives you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.” Christians cannot be deceived by false christs, false prophets, and false teachers with empty words. The wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.
Col 3:6, “For it is because of these things that the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience.” These things include sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed. The wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience.
Heb 2:2, “For if the Word spoken through angels proved unalterable, and every violation and act of disobedience received a just punishment.” Angels are messengers of God, they do not speak for themselves. The Word of God spoken through angels is unalterable. Every violation and act of disobedience will receive a just punishment.
Heb 4:6, “Therefore, since it remains for some to enter it, and those who previously had good news preached to them failed to enter because of disobedience.” Even those who had good news preached to them, they failed to enter the Kingdom of God because of disobedience.
Heb 4:11, “Therefore let's make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following the same example of disobedience.” Following the same example of disobedience, no one can enter the rest of God’s salvation. Therefore, the people of the world must make every effort to enter the Kingdom of God.
Protagoras was mistaken to say, “Man is the measure of all things.” Man cannot measure what lies in front of him, cannot measure what lies behind him, and worse cannot measure what lies inside of him, and worst of all he cannot measure what lies above him. A self-centered man in the universe is like a dot in the horizon, trivial, unimportant, meaningless. Plato was right who said, “We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.” The more people have power and money and sex in this world, the more they are afraid of the light. For Jesus says, Jhn 3:19-21, “And this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the Light; for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, so that his deeds will not be exposed. But the one who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds will be revealed as having been performed in God.” American and European leaders and politicians are stupid because they use mainstream media to cover up their evil deeds. Don’t they know God knows every evil deed they have done from the beginning and their evil deeds will be eventually exposed?
Augustine was a product of the Roman Catholic Church. Whatever errors the Roman Catholic Church had, Augustine also possessed. I do not intend to waste time and effort to point out one by one of the errors of Augustine. Sufficient to say the teachings of Augustine on the Church, the Lord’s Supper (which the Catholics call Mass), Baptism, Virgin Mary, etc. are all wrong. It is heresy to believe that May can save anyone. It is heresy to believe Mary is the Mother of God. There was no such as a thing called the ASSUMPTION OF MARY. The more I know about theologians, and the more I know about their teachings, the more I don’t like them. Why? When you put them on the scale of the Word of God, they weigh almost nothing; some have negative weight like John Calvin, etc.
I like Mother Teresa, this is the best of human wisdom combined with human kindness; but I would like to add three words, “for Jesus’ sake.”
Man sees his past in memory, his present in perplexity, his future in uncertainty. When it comes to death, no one can escape.
For Christians, the better days are coming, not because men or women striving for noble causes and make this muddled world a better place for those who will live in it after we are gone. Humanity is not marching towards better days. The world will get worse and worse until it comes to an end. Only Jesus Christ can build the Kingdom of God on earth. The Sun of Righteous, Jesus Christ, will rise and shine the whole universe.
I agree with Benjamin Franklin, “Sin is not hurtful because it is forbidden, but it is forbidden because it is hurtful.” Sin is not what a man thinks it is. Sin is what God says it is. Men tell us in these days that sin is what you think it is. Well, it is not. Sin is what God thinks it is. You may think according to your own conscience. God thinks according to His. God is always right.
In Paradise, Adam and Eve did not know what pain was. Pain is the outcome of sin. Thomas Carlyle was right, “The first sin in our universe was Lucifer’s self conceit.”
Isa 14:12-16, “How you have fallen from Heaven,
O Lucifer, son of the morning! You have been cut down to the earth, you who defeated the nations! But you said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to Heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God,
And I will sit on the mount of assembly In the recesses of the north. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’ Nevertheless you will be brought down to Sheol, to the recesses of the Pit. Those who see you will stare at you, they will closely examine you, saying, ‘Is this the man who made the earth tremble, Who shook kingdoms.” The devil, the Lucifer made five self-conceits of ‘I will’. There is no one can make himself like the Most High. The sin of Lucifer was not ignorance, but arrogance.
In comparison, the first sin of mankind against God was disobedience. It is not ignorance, it is not even stupidity, it is disobedience which is the root cause of all human sins. Of course the consequence of all sins is stupidity. Stupidity alone may not cause sin. Even lying is not the greatest of all sins. Disobedience to the Word of God is the greatest sin. Sin is an offence against God. The biggest offense against God is disobedience. The first lesson that parents must teach their children is obedience. If they fail obedience, they fail everything. God is not like the godfather who runs his organization like the mafia. Jesus Christ is our Prime Example.
Heb 5:8-9, “Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered. And having been perfected, He became the Source of eternal salvation for all those who obey Him.” Jesus Christ is our Source of eternal salvation for all those who obey God. I think the most important two duties of God’s children is to Trust and Obey God.
Luk 19:10, “For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” When man sinned and fell, he was separated from God and lost. Sinners are lost sheep. After the Fall, curses fall on the world in disasters. There are two groups of disaster: natural-disasters and man-made disasters. Natural disasters include pandemics (plagues), earthquakes, floods, drought, famine, hurricanes, tornadoes, forest fires, rain storms, dust storms, mud slides, wild beasts, tsunamis, avalanches, lightnings, volcano eruptions, locusts, etc. Man-made disasters include wars, air pollution, unemployment, poverty, gas leak, chemical explosion, coal mine collapse, building collapse, bridge collapse, oil spill, corruption, terrorism, drug trafficking, sex trafficking, smuggling, boycott, sanction, military intervention, water contamination, overpopulation, food contamination, superstition, fire, nuclear reactor meltdown, transportation accident, ship collision, trash, pornography, fake products, frauds, abuses of power, AIDS, toxic waste, poisoning, epidemic, Internet crimes, organized crimes, pimping, prostitution, dog feces, fake news, violence, etc. To be more accurately, I agree with William Law who said, “Self is the root, the tree, and the branches of all the evils of our fallen state.”
Eph 4:22, “that, in reference to your former way of life, you are to rid yourselves of the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit.” The old self is the old human nature, born of the flesh. How to rid yourselves of the old self?
Rom 6:6-8, “knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin; for the one who has died is freed from sin. Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him.” How to live with Christ?
Eph 3:16, “that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner self.” Just believe in Jesus is not enough, you must have the Spirit of the Lord in the inner self, strengthened with power.
Eph 4:24, “and to put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.” Col 3:10, “and have put on the new self, which is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created it—” This true knowledge in Christ, no scientists, philosophers, or psychologists can have because they are devoid of the Holy Spirit. Martin Luther said, “Sin is essentially a departure from God.” I do not know what Luther said originally in German the word ‘departure’. More accurately, sin is essentially a separation from God. Sin separates man from God. God is Holy, so a sinful man cannot approach God. A sinful man is afraid God is going to punish or hurt him. Sin separates man from God. The separation is both physical and spiritual. Adam and Eve were driven out. The Paradise was lost.
I agree with Blaise Pascal, “There are two kinds of men: the righteous who think they are sinners and the sinners who think they are righteous.” You can also think there are two kinds of men: the saved sinners and the unsaved sinners. The saved sinner thinks like Peter he is a sinner. The unsaved sinner does think like a Pharisee, because he is self-righteous. For example, George Bush, Jr. thinks like that. He would tell Peter he has been doing his best to be a good man.
George Eliot said, “I couldn’t live in peace if I put the shadow of a willful sin between myself and God.” Although I do not know George Eliot, I think he has a righteous soul. When a righteous man sins, he does not have peace. Thomas Fuller was right, “He that falls into sin is a man; that grieves at it, is a saint; that boasteth of it, is a devil.”
I agree with Dwight L. Moody, “God has nothing to say to the self-righteous. Unless you humble yourself before Him in the dust, and confess before Him your iniquities and sins, the gate of heaven, which is open only for sinners, saved by grace, must be shut against you forever.”
In the sight of God, there is no respectable sinner. A president is not better than a pimp; a prime minister is no better than a prostitute. A president or prime minister, a king or a queen, must all come to Jesus Christ as sinners. There is no special entry for presidents, prime ministers, kings and queens, princes and princesses to the Kingdom of God. For that reason, Plato said correctly, “Sin is disease, deformity, and weakness.” Martyn Lloyd-Jones was right, “The Gospel is open to all; the most respectable sinner has no more claim on it than the worst.” I want to make a little comment, no sinner is respectable in the sight of God. I agree with Thomas Carlyle, “The deadliest sin were the consciousness of no sin.” There are people who claim and who are conscious of no sin. Since they are conscious of no sin, naturally they are also conscious of no need of salvation. Most self-righteous persons want to minimize their sins. I agree with John Bunyan who said, “One leak will sink a ship: and one sin will destroy a sinner.” I like what John Newton said, “Although my memory's fading, I remember two things very clearly: I am a great sinner and Christ is a great Savior.”
Although the way of salvation is clear: Repent and Believe in Jesus Christ. Many do not know what repentance means. I agree with J. C. Ryle, “True repentance is no light matter. It is a thorough change of heart about sin, a change showing itself in godly sorrow and humiliation - in heartfelt confession before the throne of grace - in a complete breaking off from sinful habits, and an abiding hatred of all sin. Such repentance is the inseparable companion of saving faith in Christ.”
Gen 18:23-33, “Abraham approached and said, “Will You indeed sweep away the righteous with the wicked? Suppose there are fifty righteous people within the city; will You indeed sweep it away and not spare the place for the sake of the fifty righteous who are in it?Far be it from You to do such a thing, to kill the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous and the wicked are treated alike. Far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth deal justly?” So the LORD said, “If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare the entire place on their account. And Abraham replied, “Now behold, I have ventured to speak to the Lord, although I am only dust and ashes. Suppose the fifty righteous are lacking five, will You destroy the entire city because of five?” And He said, “I will not destroy it if I find forty-five there.” And he spoke to God yet again and said, “Suppose forty are found there?” And He said, “I will not do it on account of the forty.” Then he said, “Oh may the Lord not be angry, and I shall speak; suppose thirty are found there?” And He said, “I will not do it if I find thirty there.” And he said, “Now behold, I have ventured to speak to the Lord; suppose twenty are found there?” And He said, “I will not destroy it on account of the twenty.” Then he said, “Oh may the Lord not be angry, and I shall speak only this once: suppose ten are found there?” And He said, “I will not destroy it on account of the ten.” As soon as He had finished speaking to Abraham the LORD departed, and Abraham returned to his place.”
Do you really think there are ten righteous men in Washington, D.C. or New York, or London or Paris? Charles de Gaulle was right about America, “I predict you will sink step by step into a bottomless quagmire, however much you spend in men and money.” (On Vietnam War). America has repeated the same bottomless quagmire in Afghanistan War; and it is not bottomless yet.
Eph 2:2, “in which you previously walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience.” Eph 5:6, “See that no one deceives you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.” Col 3:6, “For it is because of these things that the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience.”
The Scriptures cited above call sinners the sons of disobedience. I think all sins are sins of disobedience. I agree with W. H. Auden, “All sins tend to be addictive, and the the terminal point of addition is damnation.” Do you know how additive is heroin? Do not even try. You won’t have a chance. For that reason, Homer said, “Of all the creatures that creep and breathe on earth, there is none more wretched than man.” Do not get the wrong idea that a sinner is a hero of some sort. No. There is none more wretched than sinner. Man is a sinner.
I agree with Alexander MacLaren, “Every sin is a mistake, as well as a wrong; and the epitaph for the sinner is, "Thou fool!" But language has changed with time. Today when a famous person or a politician commits a crime, they instinctively would say, “Oh, it was a mistake.”
The sins of mankind are great, and the human misery is also great. Euripides was right, “Fate finds for every man; his share of misery.” Every man has his share of misery, it may be a different kind or degree. Man’s origin must be tied to his existence. Carl Jung admitted, “As far as we can discern, the sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light in the darkness of mere being.” That darkness in man is sin. Marcus Tullius Cicero set a lofty goal for man, “The searching-out and thorough investigation of truth ought to be the primary study of man.” I have met millions of people all over the world. I discovered most people are motivated by money, very few individuals are motivated by seeking the truth. There was a story about Diogenes who wandered around ancient Greece carrying a lantern and searching for an honest man.
Abraham pleaded for Sodom, but could not find 10 righteous men. Can you find ten righteous man in Washington, D.C. or London, or Paris today? Man’s existence is difficult in many aspects. As Blaise Pascal said, “Man finds nothing so intolerable as to be in a state of complete rest, without passions, without occupation, without diversion, without effort. Then he feels his nullity, loneliness, inadequacy, dependence, helplessness, emptiness.”
I believe the creature’s needs can only be met in the providence of the Creator. Let us examine what pointed out by Pascal one by one.
A. Nullity
Psa 144:3, “LORD, what is man, that You look after him? Or a son of man, that You think of him?” When I was a boy I already recognized the nullity of human existence, in my search for the truth I found great comfort in the Word of God as follows:
Psa 56:9-13, “Then my enemies will turn back on the day when I call; This I know, that God is for me. In God, whose word I praise,
In the LORD, whose word I praise, In God I have put my trust, I shall not be afraid. What can mankind do to me? Your vows are binding upon me, God; I will render thanksgiving offerings to You. For You have saved my soul from death, Indeed my feet from stumbling,
So that I may walk before God in the light of the living.” From childhood, God has saved me. Even now I am old, but my Heavenly Father watches over me. Day by day I walk before God in the light of the living.
B. Loneliness
Man is lonely even in the midst of billions of peoples in the world. Man is lonely because he could not find the one who feels and thinks like himself or herself. Man was born alone, and he must struggle and die alone. There is a Christian song that really expresses the sentiment:
“In the Garden. I come to the garden alone, While the dew is still on the roses, And the voice I hear falling on my ear, The Son of God discloses...And He walks with me, and He talks with me, And He tells me I am His own, And the joy we share as we tarry there, None other, has ever, known! He speaks and the sound of His voice, Is so sweet the birds hush their singing, And the melody that he gave to me, Within my heart is ringing . . .And He walks with me, and He talks with me, And He tells me I am His own, And the joy we share as we tarry there, None other, has ever, known! And the joy we share as we tarry there, None other, has ever, known!” (Cited above is Words and Music by C. Austin Miles, 1912)
Best of all, my Lord and Savior assures me: Mat 28:20, “teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the world.” An unbeliever will never know what it means to have sweet fellowship with the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. 2Co 13:14. “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.”
C. Inadequacy
2Co 12:9, “And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.” The sufficiency of my Lord meets my inadequacy.
Psa 36:9, “For the fountain of life is with You;
In Your light we see light.” We Christians not only have the fountain of life, and in His light we see light.
Psa 18:29, “For by You I can run at a troop of warriors;
And by my God I can leap over a wall.” This miraculous experience of by God leaping over a wall can only be known by children of God.
D. Dependence
Rom 9:16, “So then it does not depend on the man who wills or the man who runs, but on God who has mercy.” Whatever I do, whether I build or run, I depend on God’s grace and mercy.
Isa 50:10, “Who is among you who fears the LORD,
Who obeys the voice of His servant,
Who walks in darkness and has no light?
Let him trust in the name of the LORD and rely on his God.” From childhood to old age, I have trusted in the name of the Lord and relied on my God.
E. Helplessness
Psa 46:1, “For the music director. A Psalm of the sons of Korah, set to Alamoth. A Song.
God is our refuge and strength,
A very ready help in trouble.”
Help in Hebrew is ʿezrâ which means assistance; succour; aid; relief; rescue; support; - which occurs 26 times in the Old Testament. Trouble in Hebrew is ṣārâ which means distress; adversity; affliction; anguish; tribulation; straits; vexation; - which occurs 73 times in the Old Testament.
Psa 54:4, “Behold, God is my helper;
The Lord is the sustainer of my soul.” Heb 13:6, “so that we confidently say,
“THE LORD IS MY HELPER, I WILL NOT BE AFRAID.
WHAT WILL MAN DO TO ME?” Psa 138:8, “The Lord will accomplish what concerns me; Your faithfulness, LORD, is everlasting;
Do not abandon the works of Your hands.”
Accomplish in Hebrew is gāmar which means to perform; to complete; to perfect; to bring to an end; to fulfill; to succeed; to achieve; - which occurs 5 times in the Old Testament.
Psa 50:15, “Call upon Me on the day of trouble;
I will rescue you, and you will honor Me.” My soul and spirit have honored the Lord so many times because He rescued me on the days of trouble and God never fails.
F. Emptiness
Isa 40:17, “All the nations are as nothing before Him,
They are regarded by Him as less than nothing and meaningless.” Ecc 1:2, “Vanity of vanities,” says the Preacher,
“Vanity of vanities! All is vanity.” Ecc 1:14, “I have seen all the works which have been done under the sun, and behold, all is vanity and striving after wind.”
Vanity in Hebrew is heḇel which means vapour; the breath of the mouth; emptiness; to no purpose; valuelessness; vainness; - which occurs 73 times in the Old Testament. All the works which have been done under the sun, including the American empire and Islamic terrorism, are all vanity and striving after wind. I too have seen all the works which have been done under the sun, you can be sure, the preaching of the Gospel and engaging in the ministry of the Word are not vanity. Whatever is done for the sake of Jesus Christ is not vain or empty. In the sight of God, America and Europe are less than nothing and meaningless. All the power and money (or wealth) in the world are less than nothing and meaningless. Most people in the West want money, power, and sex and in the sight of God they are less than nothing and meaningless. But we Christians have abundant life in Jesus Christ that we can honestly say,
Psa 23:1-26, “A Psalm of David.
The LORD is my shepherd,
I will not be in need. He lets me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul;
He guides me in the paths of righteousness For the sake of His name. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil, for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil;
My cup overflows. Certainly goodness and faithfulness will follow me all the days of my life,
And my dwelling will be in the House of the LORD forever.”
An unbeliever and secularist said something very, very wrong, “What is termed Sin is an essential element of progress. Without it the world would stagnate, or grow old, or become colorless. By its curiosity Sin increases the experience of the race. Through its intensified assertion of individualism it saves us from monotony of type. In its rejection of the current notions about morality, it is one with the higher ethics.”
Sin is never an element of progress. Sin pushes back man to backwardness and degradation, for example, Black slavery and the Wild Wild West. Brutalities like lynching, burning, torture, castration, sexual assault, whipping, branding, shackling, etc. were common in the past of America, no one can conscientiously calls them elements of progress or higher ethics. Sinful men are so lost that they even wanted to enslave others. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the liberating force not only spiritually, but socially. Whatever Christians have done or doing for the sake of Jesus Christ is neither vain nor meaningless.
V. The world is cursed because of sin.
Gen 3:17, “Then to Adam He said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat from it';
Cursed is the ground because of you;
With hard labor you shall eat from it All the days of your life.”
Cursed in Hebrew is 'ārar which means to put a curse on; to lay under a curse; to abhor; to detest; to imprecate; to afflict; to execrate; in invoke evil on; to anathematize; - which occurs 63 times in the Old Testament. Hard labor in Hebrew is ʿiṣṣāḇôn which means hard physical work; sorrow; toil; hardship; pain; worrisomeness; - which occurs 3 times in the Old Testament.
The sin of violence followed by the curse. Cain killed his own brother. Sin brings conflict, hatred, war, alienation, corruption, trouble, and no peace even to this day. I believe after the Fall and after the Curse, there began the existence of mosquitoes, flies, cockroaches, insects, parasites, bacteria and viruses. The Bible says that God sent swarms of flies to the Egyptians. The Earth today witnesses local floods, volcanic activity, hurricanes, tornadoes, tsunamis, famines, drought, forest fires, earthquakes, etc. in increasingly sizable amounts.
The state of life in America was described very well by Benjamin Disraeli: “In great cities men are brought together by the desire of gain. They are not in a state of co-operation, but of isolation, as to the making of fortunes; and for all the rest they are careless of neighbors.” I use a different word to describe the American society today, it is worth than isolation, it is complete alienation. It is a fact that most American people do not know their neighbors. Even children are taught not to speak to strangers. I believe after the Fall and the curse, the world began to have mosquitoes, flies, cockroaches, and other insects. When I was a boy, although I did not know how to swim, I was stupid and daring to do island hopping. It was the provident grace of God to keep me from harm and kept me alive to this day. We used sampan to do it. I discovered although the water was clean and clear, but there were swamps of mosquitoes which ferociously attacked me. I hated mosquitoes so much. If I had my way, I would eliminate all mosquitoes, flies and insects in the world. When I was hired as a professor by the Ministry of Education and taught at the National Overseas Chinese University in Quanzhou; I had never encountered so many malicious mosquitoes in my life. Of course you needed a mosquito net to cover your bed. Those mosquitoes were very smart, if while you sleep, you hand were close to the mosquito net, the mosquitoes could through the holes to suck your blood. When the evening set in, swarms and battalions of mosquitoes would come from no where and started to invade my apartment with the scarry sound ongongong like the enemy planes were coming to bomb you. I used a Chinese kongfu called 九陰八骨爪 to catch the mosquitoes. It was most disgusting because the dead and bloody mosquitoes were in my palms. I had to wash my hands right away.
Because of sin, the Paradise was lost. The mankind are in a bad situation with an undesirable environment. The state of the world has never been good since the Fall, and it is only getting worse and worse. It only gets more and more outrageous. This is how America demoralizes its citizens. The state of the world is very, very bad because it is most dangerous and perilous. The last days of the world are characterized by devoid of truth, integrity, and justice. You look everywhere in the world you cannot find TRUTH, INTEGRITY, JUSTICE. People are just not morally responsible. Worst of all, above all, those that claim to be Christian nations, are devoid of Truth, Integrity, and Justice.
2Ti 3:1-14, “But KNOW this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith; but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was. But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance, persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra —what persecutions I endured. Note: Know this! You may know many unimportant things. If you do not know this, your knowledge is vain and useless. “But KNOW this, that in the last days PERILOUS times will come.” Perilous in Greek is chalepos which means fierce; dangerous; hard to bear; troublesome; harsh; savage; difficult; furious; grievous; oppressive; annoying; hazardous; full of peril; full of dangers; parlous; - which occurs 2 times in the New Testament.
Alas! Alas! Alas! The world has lost truth, justice and integrity. There are no more truth, justice and integrity in the world! You cannot find national leaders and politicians who have truth, justice and integrity. You cannot find business and industry that has truth and integrity! What is worse, many businesses not only they have no honor, they have no shame. You cannot find truth and integrity in mainstream media.
Isa 1:4, “Alas, sinful nation,
People weighed down with iniquity,
Offspring of evildoers,
Sons who act corruptly!
They have abandoned the LORD,
They have despised the Holy One of Israel,
They have turned away from Him.”
Not all diseases in the world are to be ascribed to demons; bacteria and viruses can also cause diseases. Plato said, “Sin is disease, deformity, and weakness.” Johann Wolfgang von Goethe said, “Sin writes histories, goodness is silent.” Germany produced two great native sons, Martin Luther and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. I also like the German native daughter Angela Merkel.
Confucius said, “The superior man understands what is right; the inferior man understands what will sell.” That is exactly what is the problem with America and with the world. World leaders and politicians do not know what is right; they only understand what will sell. So the political campaign is the campaign of deception. They promise people what they cannot deliver. What they can deliver is to serve the special interests and themselves. If you watch TV and hear what the men and women sell, you will lose your mind.

Rev 21:1, “Then I saw a new Heaven and a new Earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea.”
Rev 21:2, “And I saw the Holy City, New Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.” Unless the Palestinians and Hamas repent of their sins and believe in the Son of God, Jesus Christ, and the Savior of mankind, they will have no part or portion in the Holy City, New Jerusalem.
VI. The Dispersion of the human races.
Gen 10:1, “Now these are the records of the generations of the sons of Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth; and sons were born to them after the flood.” Gen 10:32, “These are the families of the sons of Noah, according to their descendants, by their nations; and out of these the nations were separated on the earth after the flood.” Gen 11:9, “Therefore it was named Babel, because there the LORD confused the language of all the earth; and from there the LORD scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.”
The origin of the human races can be traced back to the first man Adam and first woman Eve. After the Flood of Noah, the ancestors of mankind must be traced to the three sons of Noah. Peoples were scattered all over the face of all the earth. However, The Bible is not a textbook of Human Anthropology.

The Caucasian race and all its sub races are characterized by light skin color ranging from white to dark wheatish, straightish to wavy hair with color ranging from flaxen to brownish to dark ebony, prominent eyes, pronounced and well-shaped nose and sharp features, medium built and average to stocky musculature. Owing to the very cold conditions of the place of its origin, the Caucasian race has light and sparse skin pigmentation and, as a result, they are not very well suited to living in very hot equatorial climates and are ill-suited to remain exposed to strong sunlight for long.
Negroid
Thomas Huxley, the prominent Darwinian biologist, believed that Aborigines, Papuans, Negritos, and Melanesians should be categorized under the Australoid race, although a lot of his predecessors and contemporaries were unanimous about inclusion of these sub-races under the Negroid race.
The Negro race is subdivided into sub races such as Aborigines, Melanesians, Negritos, Papuans, Dravidians, etc. People belonging to the Negroid race are physically characterized by dark skin due to dense pigmentation, coarse black and wooly hair, wide noses and foreheads, broad, often thick lips, large built and broad skeletal structure. The Negro race people are known for their stamina and ability to survive in very adverse environmental conditions, especially extreme heat. The dense pigmentation of their skin equips them to face the intense heat and strong sun of the equatorial belt of the earth, which is where this race is believed to have originated. Even today, the maximum number of Negroid race people can be found in the equatorial regions such as Africa, Southern India, etc. Negroid sub-races also include the following:-

Mongoloid
Due to the vast and diverse geographical distribution of the Mongolian race, the term “Mongoloid” seems more appropriate than “Asian”, as an umbrella term to refer to people belonging to this race.
The Mongoloid race include all those people who are classified under the sub races East Asian, North Asian and Native American. Mongoloids are characterized by yellowish or light wheatish skin, extremely straight and black hair, very less hair growth upon their bodies, small, almond-shaped eyes, slight built and very lean musculature. The facial features are usually small but clear. The regions of the world that are regarded as the homelands of Mongoloid race people are the far Orients, Northeastern India, certain American countries where Native American people can still be found, etc. The Mongoloid race can be classified into – the Neo-Mongoloids, which include ethic groups like Eskimos, Buryats, Chinese, and Chukchis. These groups have physical features that are extremely Mongoloid in appearance and are typically found in Mongoloid populations that have adapted to living in extremely low temperatures and cold climatic conditions. The second category is the Paleo-Mongoloids, which include ethnic groups such as Polynesians, Filipinos, Burmese, certain Native American people, Jōmons, etc. The physical features of these ethnic and genetic groups are less Mongoloid in appearance and such features are usually found in Mongolian populations whose lifestyles are adapted for living in warm to temperate climatic conditions over several generations.
Australoid
According to the ‘Out of Africa Theory’, Proto-Australoids (believed to be ancestors of the Australoid races) are thought to have migrated from the African continent and moved along the Southeast Asian coast towards the Australian landmass
The Aborigines, Melanesians, Papuans, and Negritos come under the Australoid race. In short, the original native races local to the Australian subcontinent come under this category. Most anthropologists debate the distinctiveness of this race as they believe that sub races like Aborigines, Negritos, etc., are genetically and physiologically very close to the Negroid race. This belief conforms to the Out of Africa theory. This could be the reason behind the racial similarities between the Australian aborigines and the native inhabitants of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the Indian Ocean. Hence, many anthropologists and genetic biologists believe that these should be categorized as sub races of the Negroid race. Therefore, it is believed that the Australoid race is a classification of humanity which is based upon geographical location and regional culture rather than genetic and biological traits.”
Remember all human knowledge must be verified. It appears to me there are many gaps and misfits in the statement cited above. It is questionable whether the Negroid and Australoid are considered two different races. It would be cleaner to classify the peoples of the world just into three categories only: Caucasoid, Mongoloid, and Negroid. However, it is problematic how to link and tie the human races after Noah’s three sons: Gen 7:13, “On this very same day Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah’s and the three wives of his sons with them, entered the ark.” It is easy to classify blacks (Negroid) as descendants of Ham. I think it is a problem to classify Chinese (the most populous race) as descendants of which son of Noah. I have not read anything satisfactory.
Anthropology is a field of its own. It is not the subject I am writing about, so we will not dwell much on it. The curse of Ham is also not a subject to deal with here. Years of observation, experience and deliberation convince me there are Two types of culture. The two types of culture: inferior and superior. Inferior cultures are characterized by violence, greed, deceit, corruption, incivility, laziness, uncleanliness, waste, dissipation, immorality, and short view of life. Superior cultures are characterized by wisdom, compassion, honesty, integrity, industry, civility, cleanliness, discipline, thrift, virtue, and long view of life. Inferior cultures produce inferior peoples; inferior peoples make an inferior society. Superior cultures produce superior peoples and superior peoples build a superior society. Do you want to know really the culture and values of a nation or people? There is a window you can see through. It is the TV, what you see is what you get. You can be sure: a people of inferior culture can never be blessed.

Here are the pertinent paragraphs “Look at these Japhetic peoples for a moment. We know that Meshech and Tubal are associated with Eastern Europe and Central Asia. I do not know whether the facts cited above are accurate or not. I just want you to know to say the Bible Timeline of 6,000 years is false. The Bible never says and does not give a clue the earth was created 6,000 years ago. The Bible says, Gen 1:1, “In the beginning God created the Heavens and the earth.” The Heavens mean the universe. Nobody knows when was the ‘beginning’; it is safe to say it was the physical beginning of the universe and the earth. It is wrong to surmise and speculate what the Bible does not say.
I personally do not believe the following statement; Negroes and Chinese do not mix:

It is wonderful how God created mankind from one blood: Act 17:26 , "And He (God) made from one blood every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation." Note: Blood in Greek is haima which means blood of man or animals, the seat of life; - it occurs 99 times in the New Testament. The words hematic and hematology come from the Greek word. Although human blood has four groups (A, B, AB, O), but it is one biological blood. Although humans have various colors, white, black, yellow and red; but they are humankind. Blood composition varies among species. Mammalian blood is composed of plasma, red and white cells (erythrocytes and leukocytes ), and platelets (thrombocytes). Animal blood is of different kind, unsuitable for blood transfusion to humans. Blood in Hebrew is dam which occurs 361 times in the Old Testament. Gen 9:6 , "Whoever sheds man's blood, by man his blood shall be shed, for in the image of God He made man. ” Deu 12:23 , "Only be sure not to eat the blood, for the blood is the life, and you shall not eat the life with the flesh.”
Gen 9:19 , "These three were the sons of Noah, and from these the whole earth was populated." Gen 10:32 , "These are the families of the sons of Noah, according to their genealogies, by their nations; and out of these the nations were separated on the earth after the flood."
Years ago I knew a white preacher of racial gospel who liked to quote the following Scripture to justify his position: Act 17:26, “And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their pre-appointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings.” In truth God did not determine “the boundaries” of the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The white supremacists did by killing and conquest. The whites in America and Canada killed the Red Indians to rob their lands; and the whites in Australia and New Zealand killed the aborigines (indigenous peoples) to rob their lands. The present system of the world is not determined by God, it is the wicked deeds of white supremacists. European and American white supremacists have dictated and dominated the world to this day. The Bible not only does not justify, but actually condemns the racial gospel and white domination of the world.
VII. THE DESTINY OF MAN.
God classifies men not as men classify themselves. In the sight of God, there are only two kinds of people: believers and unbelievers; children of of God and children of the devil; sheep and goat; wheat and tares. God does not look at color, class, and socio-economic background and wealth.
Lam 1:9, “Her uncleanness is in her skirts;
She did not consider her destiny;
Therefore her collapse was awesome;
She had no comforter.
O LORD, behold my affliction,
For the enemy is exalted!” Prostitutes who make $5,000 an hour and other street prostitutes do not consider their destiny. Pimps who control prostitutes with drugs and force to make big money do not consider their destiny. Do American and European leaders and politicians who prepare for a nuclear war against Russia and China, and falsely believe they could win, consider their destiny and consequences of their countries and peoples? Num 24:20, “Then Balaam looked over toward the people of Amalek and delivered this message:
“Amalek was the greatest of nations,
but its destiny is destruction!”
This is a message from Heaven: America is the greatest of nations now but it is not even mentioned in the end time of the Bible prophesy. Could it be the destiny of the United States of America is destruction? Could it be America is destroyed so it does not exist in the end of time and so it is not even mentioned? Psa 73:17, “Then I went into your sanctuary, O God, and I finally understood the destiny of the wicked.” The destiny of the wicked is eternal destruction in Hell. The wicked have not honored God.” Job 8:13, “Such is the destiny of all who forget God; the hope of the godless will perish.” I think American and European leaders and politicians have forgotten God or they will not be doing what they have been doing for a long long time, to lie, to kill, and to rob the nations and peoples of the world. Psa 9:17, “The wicked are turned back and sent to Sheol; this is the destiny of all the nations that ignore God.” The destiny of all the nations that ignore God will be sent to Hell.
Jer 10:23, “LORD, we know that people do not control their own destiny. It is not in their power to determine what will happen to them.” This is a great truth that many do not know: people do not control their own destiny. It is not in their power to determine what will happen to them. American leaders and politicians who rely on the military might and nuclear weapons think and believe falsely that they are safe. The Word of God says, it is not in their power to determine what will happen to America. Being the sole superpowers, American people do not control their own destiny. It is not in their power to determine what will happen to them. Washington, Wall Street, and Hollywood better know that it is not in their power to determine what happen to them. Do you know what will happen to America soon? Ecc 7:2, “It is better to go to a house of mourning than to go to a house of feasting, for death is the destiny of everyone; the living should take this to heart.” Everyone has sinned, so everyone will die. Death is the destiny of everyone. The tragedy is the fact that the living do not take this to heart. I often wonder why false teachers and false preachers want to become teachers and preachers of the Gospel anyway. If they want to make money, they do not need to use the Gospel to get rich. I know a white South African missionary who is a homosexual. Why do homosexuals want to become missionaries? I know quite a few bad preachers and pastors in this world whom I could not respect even as a man. Phl 3:19, “Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things.” The Word of God is serious: all false prophets, false teachers, false pastors, false missionaries, and false theologians --their destiny is destruction.
Psa 49:13-14, “This is the destiny of those who are foolish, and of those who approve their sayings. Selah. They are appointed as a flock for She'ol. Death shall be their shepherd. The upright shall have dominion over them in the morning. Their beauty shall decay in She'ol, Far from their mansion.” Jer 13:25-27, “This is your lot, the portion measured to you from Me,” declares the LORD, Because you have forgotten Me and trusted in falsehood. So I Myself have stripped your skirts off over your face, So that your shame will be seen. As for your adulteries and your lustful neighings,
The outrageous sin of your prostitution
On the hills in the field,
I have seen your abominations.
Woe to you, Jerusalem!
How long will you remain unclean?”
There are two destinies among men. The above cited will go to destruction, and there is a group will have a glorious destiny. Psa 73:24, “You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny.” The righteous have a glorious destiny, and they are looking forward to New Heavens and a New Earth.
Jesus says, Mat 7:13, “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.” The wicked say, Hell is crowded and cozy, Heaven is lonely and empty. This false statement is just sour grapes. Rev 7:9, “After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all the tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands.” Do you know all the innocent infants who had been killed or aborted go to Heaven by the grace of God. Mat 2:16, “Then when Herod saw that he had been tricked by the magi, he became very enraged, and sent men and killed all the boys who were in Bethlehem and all its vicinity who were two years old or under, according to the time which he had determined from the magi.” I believe all those boys who were in Bethlehem and all its vicinity who were two years old or under were killed -- they all went to Heaven by the grace of God and covered by the precious blood of Jesus, and I will be glad to meet them. Exo 1:22, “Pharaoh then commanded all his people: “You must throw every son born to the Hebrews into the Nile, but let every daughter live.” Exo 2:1-6, “Now a man from the family of Levi married a Levite woman. The woman became pregnant and gave birth to a son; when she saw that he was beautiful, she hid him for three months. But when she could no longer hide him, she got a papyrus basket for him and coated it with asphalt and pitch. She placed the child in it and set it among the reeds by the bank of the Nile. Then his sister stood at a distance in order to see what would happen to him. Pharaoh’s daughter went down to bathe at the Nile while her servant girls walked along the riverbank. She saw the basket among the reeds, sent her slave girl, took it, opened it, and saw him, the child — and there he was, a little boy, crying. She felt sorry for him and said, “This is one of the Hebrew boys.” I believe by the wicked command of the evil Pharaoh, all those Hebrew boys who were thrown and died at the Nile went to Heaven by the grace of God. I shall be glad to meet those Hebrew boys. There are also millions of infants or fetuses male and female killed by abortion in the world, I believe they all went to Heaven by the grace of God and covered by the precious blood of Jesus. I shall also be glad to meet them.
Deu 30:19,“I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have placed before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants.” Jer 21:8, “You shall also say to this people, ‘This is what the LORD says: “Behold, I am setting before you the way of life and the way of death.” God is setting before you the way of life and the way of death. Mankind has a choice of their destiny: life or death. The Word of God is explicitly clear: Jesus Christ is the Way to God, there is no other way, and there is no other salvation. For Jesus Christ says, Mar 16:15-16, “And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation. The one who has believed and has been baptized will be saved; but the one who has not believed will be condemned.” Jhn 3:18-19, “He who believes in Him (Jesus Christ) is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.”
The Word of God is clear and simple: Repent and Believe in Jesus Christ you will not be condemned. He who does not believe in Jesus Christ is condemned already. Again, again, and again God warns the people of the earth through His prophets and His Word, of their eternal destiny. God sets life and death before mankind. This is the most serious thing in the universe. If you fail, fail, fail and you can try again. There are two places which settle the eternal destiny of mankind: Heaven and Hell. Heaven is the Paradise of God which God has prepared for His children to be blessed for eternity. Hell is the place God has prepared for the devil, his agents or followers, unbelievers and the wicked to suffer the unquenchable fire and the worm that will not die for eternity. Whichever of the two is final destiny. Those who have gone to Heaven, no one wants to come back to earth. Those who have been cast into Hell, there is no way back. This is deadly serious because there is no turning back from Hell. Eternity means time without end. The smartest man has no idea what eternity means. In this world everything comes to an end. In Hell the suffering has no end. God does not want you to perish in Hell, so the Gospel is preached all over the world.
Epictetus said something with some grain of truth, “All human beings seek the happy life, but many confuse the means - for example, wealth and status - with that life itself. This misguided focus on the means to a good life makes people get further from the happy life. The really worthwhile things are the virtuous activities that make up the happy life, not the external means that may seem to produce it.”
The truth is virtuous activities may make you happy in this life, but that will not earn you the eternal life. No amount of good deeds can earn anyone the path to Heaven. No one is good enough to enter the Kingdom of God through merit and good works. Your destiny depends on whether you repent of your sins and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as your God and Savior. There is a heresy teaching that your good works of love and justice may create or contribute to building the Kingdom of God on earth. There is no salvation in any other, Jesus Christ is the only way to God. Salvation is the way of God, human good deeds contribute nothing. The wicked confuse the Word of God by saying humans create, accomplish, set goals and fulfill them to God’s glory. Actually those who think their work contribute to redemptive work of God deny and reject the accomplished work of Christ. Jhn 19:28, “After this, Jesus, knowing that all things had already been accomplished, in order that the Scripture would be fulfilled, said, “I am thirsty.”
Mat 25:31-46, “But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne. And all the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, just as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; and He will put the sheep on His right, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? And when did we see You as a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it for one of the least of these brothers or sisters of Mine, you did it for Me.’ Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, you accursed people, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels; for I was hungry, and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me nothing to drink; I was a stranger, and you did not invite Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit Me.’ Then they themselves also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or as a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not take care of You?’ Then He will answer them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it for one of the least of these, you did not do it for Me, either.’ These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
In fact, your eternal destiny depends on your position in Christ, whether you are sheep on His right, or you are goat on His left. It is not your good deeds or works that make you a sheep of Jesus. You listen to the voice of Jesus and follow Him to become His sheep. The righteous do not do anything to inherit the Kingdom. It is the accomplished work of Jesus Christ. You need to know what the world really is. Mar 4:19, “but the worries of the world, and the deceitfulness of wealth, and the desires for other things enter and choke the Word, and it becomes unfruitful.” Jhn 3:19, “And this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than the Light; for their deeds were evil.” Jhn 14:27, “Peace I leave you, My peace I give you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, nor fearful.” Jhn 15:19, “If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you.” Jhn 16:33, “These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”Jhn 17:15, “I am not asking You to take them out of the world, but to keep them away from the evil one.” Jhn 17:18, “Just as You sent Me into the world, I also sent them into the world.” Act 17:31, “because He has set a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all people by raising Him from the dead.” 1Co 1:27-28, “but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong, and the insignificant things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are.” 2Co 1:12, “For our proud confidence is this: the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and godly sincerity, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially toward you.” Col 2:20, “If you have died with Christ to the elementary principles of the world, why, as if you were living in the world, do you submit yourself to decrees, such as.” 1Ti 1:15, “It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost.” 1Ti 6:7, “For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it, either.” Jas 4:4, “You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.” 1Jo 2:15, “Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” 1Jo 2:17, “The world is passing away and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God continues to live forever.”
After all have been said and one, what is the most important thing about a man? Is it not his/her destiny? It does not matter what you have and who you are, do you know where you will spend your eternity? 2Pe 3:10-36, “But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the Heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up. Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the Day of God, because of which the Heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat! But according to His promise we are looking for new Heavens and a new Earth, in which righteousness dwells. Therefore, beloved, since you look for these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, spotless and blameless, and regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; just as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given wisdom given him, wrote to you, as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.”
The Scriptures cited above are clear and plain. God will destroy the present heavens and earth by burning. I recently accidentally strayed into a website which for the first time I encountered a most outrageously bold false teacher who privately interpreted and distorted the Word of God by saying the Scriptures were misunderstood. We do not need to know all the false teachings of the false teachers. There are infinite ways of being crooked. We only want to know the straight truth of Christ. False teachers like that do not have fear of God in their hearts and minds. The false teacher said, “God used fire not to destroy but to ‘purify’ the heavens and earth.” I did not realize there are so many evil websites that propagate false doctrines and wrong teachings on the Internet. The only effective safeguard and protection against false preachers and false teachings is the knowledge of the Word of God. Christians must be rooted in the Scriptures and learn how to use the Sword of the Spirit. Eph 6:16-17, “in addition to all, taking up the Shield of Faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the Helmet of Salvation and the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.” The Sword of the Spirit is the Word of God. If you know the Word of God, you can use the Sword of the Spirit to cut down and destroy the false teachings and unsound doctrines.
It is hoped you will make the right choice. The right choice is to repent of your sins and come to Jesus Christ and believe Him to be your Lord and Savior so that you may be saved on earth and when you die or when Jesus comes again, you will meet the Lord in the space and reign with Him for eternity. This is most serious business, your eternal destiny depends on it. The man dies because his soul separates from his body.
Some worldly man said, “ I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.” The worldly man thought the nuclear weapons will be used in World War III. The remnant of people will be fought in World War IV with sticks and stones because the world will fall into a primitive state. I am telling you there will be no World War III and World War IV. The last war will be nuclear and that is the end of the world. The world will not remain ever the same. The world will come to an end. The most dangerous thing is the fact and practice of American military strategists who tell lies to the American leaders and politicians that they could win a nuclear war against Russia and China. For 21 years the mighty America could not win against Viet Cong in the Vietnam War. For 20 years the mighty America could not win against the Taliban in the Afghanistan War. As it is written in the Bible, Everything will be burned up. Jesus Christ will come again to establish the Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus Christ will be the King of kings and the Lord of lords. All the kingdoms of the world will be no more.
Thucydides said, “The bravest are surely those who have the clearest vision of what is before them, glory and danger alike, and yet notwithstanding, go out to meet it.” The world leaders and politicians do not have the clearest vision so they grope in the dark while the world languishes, and they do not have the moral courage to do what is right. With the passage of time, the world is getting worse and worse in every aspect. It reminds me of the words of Jesus, “The blind leads the blind.” However, God rules the world according to His wisdom and will. The world is not drifting, the world is marching, as God plan, toward the end. 1Pe 4:7, “The end of all things is near; therefore, be of sound judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer.” God will bring the world to an end. 1Co 15:23-25, “But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ’s at His coming, then comes the end, when He hands over the Kingdom to our God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet.” 1Jo 3:5, “You know that He appeared in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin.”
The first appearance of Jesus Christ was in order to take away sins; in Him there is no sin, the Righteous for the unrighteous. It is the salvation of our souls. Rom 8:23, “And not only that, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons and daughters, the redemption of our body.” The second appearance of Jesus is for the redemption of our body. The bodies of saints shall be transformed into the glorious, spiritual and immortal bodies so that we are equipped to live with the Lord in New Heavens or on the New Earth. 1Co 15:42-44, “So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown a perishable body, it is raised an imperishable body; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.”
IN CONCLUSION
You have learned that God created the first man and woman Adam and Eve. They were in perfect environment, the Garden of Eden. Yet they disobeyed God and lost the Paradise. After the flood of Noah, men were dispersed all over the world. According to the promise of Abraham, God sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ who came down from Heaven to the earth to save sinners. The historic Jesus of Nazareth who lived on earth a short life, who proved to be a Prophet mighty in deed and word in the sight of God and all the people.
Mat 4:23-25, “Jesus was going about in all of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people. And the news about Him spread throughout Syria; and they brought to Him all who were ill, those suffering with various diseases and severe pain, demon-possessed, people with epilepsy, and people who were paralyzed; and He healed them. Large crowds followed Him from Galilee and the Decapolis, and Jerusalem, and Judea, and from beyond the Jordan.”
The preaching alone cannot save sinners. Jesus had to die on the cross for the ungodly to make salvation available to all who repent and believe. The beliefs two thousand years ago are as fresh as yesterday. The value of the truth of Christ does not change.
You have learned that God created the universe and mankind. Mankind sinned by disobedience to God. God so loved the world and sent His only Son Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world, to come down from Heaven to earth to save sinners. The Lamb of God took away the sin of the world by sacrificing Himself on the cross. The precious blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sins. Your sins can be forgiven, if only you repent and believe in Jesus Christ.
